1.Garv Gaur-XII C

A game which requires cognitive excellence, patience and thinking with a strategy. Garv Gaur soared high with the title ‘Fide Master’ over the clouds with his stupendous performance in the Chess competition.

➢ Champion in Faridabad Senior Distt. Chess Championship in 2022-23.
➢ Champion in Faridabad Distt. U-19 Chess Championship in 2022-23.
➢ Champion in U-15 Faridabad Distt. Chess Championship in 2022-23.
➢ Champion in Haryana State Sub-Junior (U-15) Chess Championship 2022-23.
➢ Champion in Haryana State U-17 Chess Championship 2023-24.

➢ Gained 205 ratings and scored an IM Norm at Prvi. IM Round Robin Chess Tournament held at Brcko, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2023-24
➢ Captain for U-19 Haryana team in SGFI Nationals 2023
➢ won the first position held in Grand Columbus International School, Sector 16, Faridabad which began from 2nd to 3rd September, 2023.

2.Divyanshi Rawat- X B

Divyanshi Rawat, the super talented GBNite with her bright aura of success has highlighted the school’s name in golden and powerful letters. She has victoriously achieved the gold medal in the ‘All Martial Arts Indian Challenge Cup’ competition held in Sector 15, Chandigarh from 20thMay-21ndMay,23 with her commanding game and impressive techniques.

3.Aksara - IX A

Aksara of class IX A bagged a Gold Medal in Taekwondo at the sports complex in Sec-12, Faridabad on 13May-14May,23 . Winning a gold medal in a competitive sport like Taekwondo requires immense skill, focus and perseverance. Her remarkable performance is a source of pride for GBN.

4.Vaibhav-XII C

Karate is a demanding and disciplined martial art that requires years of training and practice, and Vaibhav has proven himself to be a true champion in this sport.

His various achievements are as follows

➢ Silver Medal in 22nd North India Wado India Wado Kai Karate Championship-2023 (Junior Championship) held at Nainital , Uttarakhand on 03June-04June, 23.
➢ Gold Medal in 2nd Indo-Nepal International Karate Championship-2023 (Junior Category) held at Dehradun on 19th & 20 May,23
➢ Gold Medal in North India Karate Championship- 2023 (Junior Category) held atKadipur, Burari in Delhi on 29th April-30April,23.
➢ Gold Medal in 11th All India Shotokan Karate Championship-2023 held at Jangpura, Bhogal, New Delhi on 21st January-22nd January, 23.

5.Yuvanshi-III B

Yuvanshi of grade 3B brought glory to the school by securing the first position and bagging the gold medal in Taekwondo with her continuous persistence and illimitable efforts at Sports Complex Sector 12 on 13th May 2023. Her hard work has brought tremendous prestige to the school.

6.Anant Bhatt –III A

Anant of class III A brought laurels to GBN School.

Below listed are his achievements and ratings:

➢ The silver medal in the 11th ‘All India Shotokan Karate Championship’ in the subjunior category held on 21st and 22nd May, 2023 at Saint Paul’s Diocesan School in
Jangpura, New Delhi.
➢ 2nd position in 2nd Indo –Nepal International Karate Championship-2023 in the subjunior category held on 19th & 20 May,23 at Dehradun.

Anant’s achievement is truly commendable and showcases his skills, dedication and hard work in the sport of Shotokan Karate. Winning a silver medal in such a competitive tournament is an exemplification of his perseverance and determination

7.Liyansh Sharma-II A

Liyansh’s hard work and perseverance have truly paid off by winning remarkable achievements.

➢ Gold medal in Taekwondo at ‘The Delhi Open Taekwondo Championship’ on 6May,23-7May,23 in Delhi Open Taekwondo Championship.
➢ Gold medal in Taekwondo at Sports Complex in Sec-12 on 12May,23 .
➢ Bronze medal in Taekwondo on 23May,23 .

8. Parth Waasan-XII C

Parth Waasan, a prudent author,from Class XII C, has won the prestigious “Author of the Year” award from Ukiyoto Publishing. This remarkable achievement is an exemplification of Parth’s exceptional talent and dedication to the literary arts.
